Quirindi Township has a friendly active population of 3000 people who enjoy an outdoor orientated lifestyle. A variety of pubs and clubs compliment sporting activities ranging from bowls and golf to polo crosse and field and game shooting.
There's tennis, squash, cricket, rugby (both union and league), service clubs, art & crafts and if you fancy a bit of action even a rodeo association.
The town boasts some of the best horse facilities in NSW for just about every conceivable horse sport and all this is backed up with schools, hospitals etc which would be the envy of many larger centres.
Quirindi is on the Great Northern Rail line with daily services to and from Sydney. It is a mere 14klms to the New England Highway providing a 4 hour link to Sydney and just on 3 hours to Newcastle. The beaches of the NSW mid- North Coast are just as close and Tamworth is less than 40 minutes away.
